Firmly "ideological battlefield"

In the Northeastern border region, touching stories about Uncle Ho's soldiers of the 327th Economic-Defense Group still spread every day. By staying close to the people and villages, helping people stabilize their lives and livelihoods, the soldiers have contributed to building a solid "people's hearts" position on the front line of the Fatherland. Units: Division 395, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command have promoted political activities such as: "Historical stories about Uncle Ho", "Young cadres follow Uncle Ho", "Democratic dialogue"... Thanks to that, the quality of ideological work has changed significantly.

The Military Commands of Hung Yen Province and Hai Duong Province always maintain a firm political orientation in information and propaganda work, closely follow the practical activities of the army, innovate in content and form, sensitively grasp information, promptly orient the thinking of cadres, employees and soldiers in the face of new, complicated and sensitive issues, especially the content of the struggle to prevent and combat the "peaceful evolution" strategy of hostile and reactionary forces in the fields of ideology and culture.

The Party Committee, the Military Region Command, and the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have focused on innovating and improving the quality of political education and traditional education; closely grasping and managing the ideological situation; linking the building of political mettle with training in ethics and lifestyle; promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 847 of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, resolutely fighting against individualism in the new situation...

According to Major General Nguyen Duc Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 3: Improving the quality of political education, ideological leadership, promoting the study and following of Uncle Ho as well as implementing the campaigns launched by the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission and all levels and sectors are among the strategic measures to create a solid foundation to build a politically strong Military Region. Therefore, in the past term, the political and ideological battlefield in the Military Region's Military Region has always been maintained. 100% of officers and soldiers are always determined to complete the assigned tasks well.

Create emphasis in training and formal development

The exciting competitive atmosphere of training at the training grounds of Division 395, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, Hung Yen Provincial Military Command... is a clear demonstration of the efforts to improve the overall quality and combat strength of the units in the Military Region. The "3-explosion" tests, topics on weapons, techniques... are organized closely to reality, strictly and seriously.

According to the leader of Military Region 3: Building a "model, exemplary" VMTD unit, the units in the Military Region 3's armed forces have taken training and combat readiness (SSCĐ) as the center, taken discipline and discipline as the fulcrum, and took logistics and engineering as a solid guarantee.

The Chief of Military Region 3 witnessed the Military Region agencies signing the emulation covenant for 2025.

In our research, we learned that, regarding training work, the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units in the Military Region's Armed Forces focused on leading and directing the good implementation of the mottos, principles, and combinations in training; improving the quality of the training staff, correcting formalism; innovating models and teaching aids, integrating simulation technology in drills and training; training close to reality in harsh weather conditions, suitable for coastal, mountainous, and plain areas... Thereby creating many highlights in training, contributing significantly to the fact that in the past term, the training results of units in the Military Region's Armed Forces were 100% satisfactory, of which over 75% were good and excellent.

In addition to training, the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have focused on leading and directing the improvement of the quality of combat readiness, ensuring strict and scientific plans and options for combat readiness, and strictly maintaining discipline and the combat readiness regime. At the same time, the work of building a regular discipline has been actively led and directed by the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to promote military administrative reform, reduce meetings, standardize processes in leadership, direction and guidance activities; promote digital transformation, modernize training grounds and shooting ranges; ensure timely and synchronized weapons and technical equipment...

Building "exemplary and typical" VMTD units in agencies and units in the Military Region's armed forces is a process of persistent, substantial, comprehensive and continuous efforts, thereby contributing to improving overall quality, combat strength and the ability to complete tasks in all situations.

During the 2020-2025 term, 100% of agencies and units in the Military Region were absolutely politically secure; the situation of compliance with State laws and military discipline had many positive changes; during the term, 41 agencies and units were awarded the title of "exemplary, typical" VMTD unit by the Ministry of National Defense.
