Thuong Tin: Displaying more than 1,000 books at Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

On April 26, at the Traditional House - Thuong Tin District Library, the District Culture - Information and Sports Center coordinated with the District Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Trai A Secondary School to organize the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025, with the theme "Reading culture - connecting the community".

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, Vice Chairman of Thuong Tin District People's Committee Bui Cong Than said that the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 carries the message "Reading Culture - Connecting the Community", "Entering the era of national development with books", "Reading - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity". This is an important occasion to affirm the role of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking,education , and at the same time cultivating human personality.

This event also promotes the reading movement in the community, contributing to building a positive learning environment, from families to agencies, organizations, and schools. Vice Chairman of Thuong Tin District People's Committee Bui Cong Than hopes that all classes of people, teachers, union members, youth, and students in the area will actively respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

The 2025 Book Festival of Thuong Tin district took place with many activities: Displaying more than 1,000 books in the fields of literature, stories, history books, famous people, supplementary books and life skills education books, painting with the theme "Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification Day April 30", helping children access many types of books and newspapers, find joy in reading, form a habit of reading to expand knowledge, nurture the soul, contribute to life skills education, prepare the best luggage for the future.
