Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee meets with heads of agencies of Internal Affairs Bloc

On the afternoon of July 7, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with heads of internal affairs agencies, assessed the results of work in the second quarter, and deployed key tasks in the third quarter of 2023. Comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrades: Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dao Dinh Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Duc Vuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office; comrades heads of internal affairs agencies, secretaries of district, town, and city Party Committees, and related agencies, units, departments, and branches.

In the second quarter of 2023, the political security and social order and safety situation in the province is basically stable. The provincial internal affairs agencies coordinate to deploy and effectively implement Regulation No. 504 dated July 26, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee on "leading the coordination work between internal affairs agencies of Ha Nam province"; leading and directing all levels and sectors to strengthen coordination work to ensure absolute safety for political, economic and cultural goals, well perform local military and defense tasks, ensure compliance with regulations, advise on timely handling of complicated issues, and prevent sudden and unexpected incidents.

Prosecution agencies closely coordinate in the fight against law violations and crimes, ensuring the quality and progress of investigation, prosecution, and trial of all types of cases, preventing cases of wrongful prosecution, wrongful convictions, missed crimes, or having to suspend investigations because the accused did not commit a crime.

The fields of work: dissemination, legaleducation , judicial support, inspection, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, religion, customs, market management, civil judgment enforcement, administrative reform, and judicial reform are focused on and effectively implemented.

Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the results achieved in the past time, and at the same time analyzed and clarified the limitations that need to be overcome in the coming time.

Concluding the conference, comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Internal Affairs agencies in the second quarter.

Regarding the key tasks of the third quarter of 2023, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees and agencies of the Internal Affairs Bloc to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the leadership and direction documents of the Central and the province on internal affairs, judicial reform and anti-corruption and negativity (PCTN, TC) in conjunction with thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing Conclusion No. 21 of the Central Executive Committee (term XIII) on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system, resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; the conclusions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Head of the Central Steering Committee on PCTN, TC at the meetings of the Steering Committee, meetings of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee as well as the Notices and conclusions at the Steering Committee meetings, meetings of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee on PCTN, TC.

Implement Directive No. 23 CT/TU, dated May 23, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on "strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels in the work of anti-corruption and anti-terrorism". The agencies of the Internal Affairs Sector closely follow the functions, tasks, and programs set out, strengthen coordination to grasp the situation at the grassroots level, and work with local Party committees, authorities, and state management agencies to thoroughly resolve complicated, prolonged cases and newly arising cases at the grassroots level. The prosecution agencies strengthen close coordination in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; promote the fight against, prevention, and control of law violations and crimes; closely coordinate in receiving and handling denunciations, crime reports, and recommendations for prosecution; improve the quality and speed up the progress of investigation, prosecution, and trial of cases to ensure strictness and compliance with the law, without wrongful convictions, omissions of criminals and criminals. Speed ​​up the progress of resolving cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Discipline.
