The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee met to consider a number of important contents.

On the afternoon of August 6, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review and comment on a number of reports, submissions, and important contents of the province. Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of a number of departments, branches, and sectors of the province.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Draft Plan to welcome and work with the working delegation of Party and State leaders; Submission requesting the policy of allocating funds to support the construction, renovation and upgrading of works honoring martyrs in 2025; Submission requesting permission to organize a delegation of youth and children of Tuyen Quang province to participate in activities in Yunnan province (China).

The meeting also reviewed and commented on a number of contents presented by the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee at the meeting, including: Party members participating in the 2025 senior political theory recruitment exam; Project to establish the Ha Giang 1 Ward Trade Union and Ha Giang 2 Ward Trade Union under the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation; establishment of the Coordination Board for foreign-invested projects in Tuyen Quang province; establishment of the Management Board for Construction Investment Project No. 01 in Tuyen Quang province at the request of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee; establishment of the Steering Committee for key projects of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh basically agreed with the drafts and reports presented at the meeting. He requested the presiding agencies to fully absorb the comments of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to complete the contents, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting practical requirements.

Regarding the construction and renovation of works to honor martyrs, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to ensure the use of funds for the right purposes, openly and transparently; and promote the effectiveness of the works in educating revolutionary traditions for the younger generation.

Comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, spoke at the meeting.

The organization of foreign affairs activities for children and youth needs to be carefully prepared, ensuring absolute safety, in accordance with the principles and purposes, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship between children and youth of both sides, and promoting Vietnam-China diplomatic relations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Regarding the proposal to establish a Steering Committee for key projects of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh emphasized that this is an urgent requirement to strengthen the province's unified and comprehensive leadership and direction for large investment projects of strategic nature, with spillover effects on local socio-economic development.

Director of the Department of Home Affairs Do Anh Tuan presented his opinions at the meeting.

He proposed to establish a Steering Committee for key projects on transport and urban areas to focus on directing the province's breakthrough and key tasks. Thereby, it will contribute to removing the overlapping situation in the assignment and decentralization; overcoming the mindset of waiting, relying, and avoiding responsibility; quickly removing obstacles in administrative procedures, ensuring smooth and synchronous coordination between departments, branches, sectors and localities. Creating more favorable and open conditions for investors, speeding up the implementation of key projects, increasing the efficiency of land use, public investment resources, and maximizing the potential and advantages of the province after the merger.

He requested that after its establishment, the Steering Committee should have clear operating regulations, assign specific tasks, and link individual responsibilities to work results; periodically review, inspect, and urge implementation progress, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, especially in site clearance compensation, investment procedures, construction licensing, and support investors in implementing projects according to commitments...
