Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Standing Committee received a delegation from Cau Thi Magazine, China

On the morning of June 5, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee received and worked with the delegation of Cau Thi Magazine (the theoretical agency of the Communist Party of China) and the delegation of the Editorial Board of Communist Magazine (the political theoretical agency of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam ). Receiving the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The delegation of Cau Thi Magazine was led by Mr. Ly Van Cac - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine; the delegation of the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine was led by Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine. The delegation's visit and work is part of the international cooperation plan between Vietnam and China. Before arriving in Khanh Hoa, the delegation of Cau Thi Magazine had a working session with the Communist Magazine, the Central Propaganda Department and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics .

Speaking at the reception, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Toan expressed his joy that the traditional friendly cooperation between Vietnam and China in general and Khanh Hoa and Chinese localities in particular has been increasingly fostered, especially when the senior leaders of the two countries agreed to elevate the relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and build a Community of Shared Future of strategic significance. Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan emphasized that Khanh Hoa always values China as a partner for friendly cooperation in many fields, especially investment, trade, tourism, e-government construction, digital transformation and sustainable development. In March 2024, a delegation of Khanh Hoa province visited and worked in a number of localities in China. The visit had very good results, in which the Khanh Hoa tourism industry organized tourism promotion; implemented the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and association in tourism development with a number of major Chinese partners and travel companies. Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan believes that the visit and work in Khanh Hoa province of the Cau Thi Magazine delegation will contribute to further fostering the relationship between Vietnam and China; opening more opportunities for economic, social and cultural cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Chinese localities as well as business cooperation between enterprises of the two sides.

Also speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan said that China is the main export market of Khanh Hoa with products such as lobster, durian, bird's nest, etc. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, China was the largest international tourist market of Khanh Hoa tourism with more than 2.5 million visitors/year (accounting for 70% of the province's international visitors). Currently, the number of visitors is not equal to 2019, but the recovery of the Chinese tourist market is very positive. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan hopes that through the meeting, Cau Thi Magazine will connect and disseminate information so that more and more Chinese investors will come to invest in Khanh Hoa, and more Chinese tourists will come to Khanh Hoa. At the same time, he hopes that the leaders of Cau Thi Magazine will influence the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to approve Khanh Hoa to officially export lobster to China, etc.

Also at the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment reported on the socio-economic development results of the province from 2021 to present; the leaders of the Department of Tourism introduced the strengths of Khanh Hoa tourism and tourism cooperation with China; the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department reported on the propaganda work and implementation of the Party's resolutions in the province's socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Cau Thi Magazine Ly Van Cac expressed his pleasure at visiting Khanh Hoa province, learning about the province's political, economic and social achievements to apply to research on the path of innovation, theories of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam. At the same time, Mr. Ly Van Cac said that this is also an opportunity for press agencies of Vietnam and China to exchange experiences, develop party theory, and contribute to promoting the development of the two countries. Next, the representative of Cau Thi Magazine introduced China's path of modernization; shared the development perspective based on the harmony between humans and nature (one of the five core perspectives of China's path of modernization).

Also at the reception, on behalf of the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine (Vietnam), Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine thanked the leaders of Khanh Hoa province for welcoming the delegation respectfully and thoughtfully; highly appreciated the results of the working session, and believed that the working program of the Cau Thi Magazine delegation and the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine delegation in Khanh Hoa will contribute to promoting the tradition of Vietnam - China friendship.
