At the conference, delegates listened to the representative of the Office of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army report on the results of Party and political work (CTĐ, CTCT) in May, key tasks in June and the results of implementing the conclusions of the Chief of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army at conferences and working sessions with functional agencies and units.

After listening to the report, the delegates attending the conference focused on discussing and clarifying many contents, focusing on the outstanding results achieved in the activities of the Party and the State in May; analyzed the advantages and difficulties that directly affected the process of implementing the tasks; proposed many contents that need to be focused on leading, directing, and organizing the implementation in June.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that in May, the General Department of Vietnam People's Army has advised, led, and completed a huge amount of work with high quality and strong influence. At the same time, he pointed out the remaining shortcomings and limitations that need to be focused on leadership, direction, and correction in June and the coming time.

Emphasizing that in June, the tasks of the entire army's political reform and internal tasks of the Central Military Commission are very heavy, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested that the authorities need to add to the plan a number of key political tasks; thoroughly assess the existing problems and limitations in all aspects of work, analyze and clarify the causes of the incidents to have effective and thorough corrective and remedial measures in the coming time.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet suggested that the comrades attending the conference should continue to closely follow the assigned areas of responsibility, focus on leadership, closely direct, and comprehensively complete tasks, ensuring good progress and quality. In particular, it is necessary to focus on urgently completing key political tasks, especially the tasks of CTĐ and CTCT related to the activities of the commune-level military command and the provincial military command; promote propaganda andeducation work and do a good job of preparing for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Focus on promoting the effectiveness of mass mobilization activities; focus on propaganda on key points to highlight the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period.

Along with that, continue to lead and direct the acceleration of the implementation of works and projects in the General Department; review, carefully evaluate, resolutely implement, promote digital transformation activities, ensure focus, avoid spreading, create motivation to promote digital transformation work of the entire army; quickly complete conclusions and instructions for implementation to ensure consistency, helping agencies and units to organize effective and quality implementation.

At the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet also adjusted some contents related to the assignment of tasks of the Deputy Directors of the General Department of Politics.
