The project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" is implemented according to Decision No. 1719-QD/TTg of the Prime Minister approving the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, Phase I: From 2021-2025. The Provincial Border Guard Command has directed Border Guard Stations to coordinate with localities to review students in difficult circumstances in the border area and propose support from superiors. These are ethnic minority students (Khmer, Cham, Hoa) with difficult family circumstances, orphaned parents who need attention and help to continue their journey of finding knowledge and rising out of poverty.

At Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station, An Giang Provincial Border Guard awarded funds to 6 students in Chau Doc City; at Nhon Hung Border Guard Station, they awarded funds to 10 students in Tinh Bien Town with the project's support level of 7,400,000 VND/1 student/year.

The achievements of the students are not only the joy and pride of their families, schools, and Border Guard officers and soldiers, but also contribute to affirming that the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" has profound humanistic meaning and brings very practical results. The project is a source of encouragement and motivation, creating favorable conditions for the children to strive to overcome difficulties, study more and more, become good children, good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, and strive to contribute to building the homeland and the country to become more and more beautiful.
