In Thanh Hoa , the working delegation inspected the construction status of Package No. 11-XL of the North-South Expressway Project, Mai Son-National Highway 45 section (Thanh Hoa province), directly constructed by Corporation 319.
Reporting to the inspection team, Colonel Nguyen Minh Khiem, General Director of Corporation 319, said: In the past time, the construction of the main route and items of the contract package have been completed by the Corporation since December 2022, ensuring progress, quality, and safety; highly appreciated by the supervision consultant, investor, agencies and the Ministry of Transport , and the State Acceptance Inspection Council.
The project was implemented in difficult conditions: The whole country faced a prolonged and complicated Covid-19 pandemic; difficulties due to scarcity of material supply; difficulties in location and procedures for dumping sites; obstacles in site clearance; difficulties in access routes to the construction site; effects of weather, sudden increases in material and fuel prices, etc.
However, the leadership, staff and workers of Corporation 319 have proactively overcome and resolved difficulties, united and strived to bring the project to completion on schedule, ensuring technical quality and safety. With the achievements in the package, Corporation 319 and the Director of the Executive Board were awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Transport; received the trust of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense , leaders of the Ministry of Transport, contributing to enhancing the image, reputation and brand of Corporation 319.
Currently, Corporation 319 has been assigned by the Minister of National Defense and the leaders of the Ministry of Transport to construct the North-South Expressway Project Phase 2, Bai Vot-Ham Nghi section (Ha Tinh province) with a value of more than 2,000 billion VND. This is also one of the key projects of the transport sector.
Concluding the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San acknowledged and commended the 319 Corporation for its efforts in recent years, focusing on production and business, and achieving many encouraging results. Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San requested the leadership and employees of the Corporation to maintain internal solidarity, uphold responsibility, operate flexibly, creatively, proactively, and be determined to achieve even greater results.
From the results of this package, Corporation 319 needs to learn from experience, promote strengths, find ways to overcome shortcomings to further improve the quality of construction in the following projects. Coordinate and maintain good relationships with local authorities, ministries and functional agencies to receive support and create favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of the project.
The construction process needs to pay attention to saving raw materials; properly solving issues related to site clearance; ensuring political security, labor safety; ensuring productivity, efficiency, high quality... contributing to enhancing the reputation and brand of the Corporation in particular and the reputation of the Army in general.
