Saudi Arabia Trade Office continues to support businesses to promote Vietnamese goods in the capital Riyadh

In the capital city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Vietnam Trade Office organized an exhibition of Vietnamese products of over 100 businesses.

Within the framework of Vietnam Day from December 13-15, 2024 in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Vietnam Trade Office organized an exhibition of products of over 100 businesses seeking opportunities to expand their markets to the Middle East region.

Featured products include agricultural products (rice, cashew nuts, pepper, coffee, tea, dried fruits), processed foods, spices, canned seafood, honey, garments, construction materials, furniture, decoration, environmentally friendly products, charcoal, agarwood...

Ambassador Dang Xuan Dung cut the ribbon to open the Vietnam Day event in Riyadh and the business product display space, and guided visitors around the cultural space and sample product display area. Visitors were very impressed with Vietnamese products, highly appreciating the designs and product displays, which are all products in demand in the market. Visitors were able to try sample products and highly appreciated the product quality.

Currently, the Saudi Arabian market is interested in Vietnamese products including agricultural products, food, household goods, agarwood, organic products, environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient.

The promotion of Vietnamese enterprises' products in Saudi Arabia and concurrent locations has been regularly carried out by the Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Riyadh since April 2021, contributing to boosting export growth from Vietnam to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Oman. Export turnover has grown impressively in the first 10 months of 2024, reaching 1.34 billion USD, up 41.1% over the same period, and for the first time, we have a trade surplus of over 180 million USD to the Saudi Arabian market.
