At 12 noon today, September 10, Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant and Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant closed another bottom spillway gate.

To ensure safety for constructions and activities along the river, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development requests the People's Committees of the following provinces and cities: Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Thai Binh , Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh to ensure safety in downstream areas when hydroelectric reservoirs discharge floodwaters.

In which, the authorities, people, and organizations operating on rivers and along rivers are informed to proactively take measures to ensure safety and adjust activities accordingly.

Do not let people go to areas at risk of landslides or construction sites to avoid unfortunate damage.

In case of unusual situations, localities are required to promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (through the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control).
