Received 2 billion VND worth of goods for people affected by storm No. 3

On September 16, the Provincial Red Cross Society received from VNPT Phu Tho 450 Feature Phone 4G phones, 2,800 backup batteries; 4,000 SIM cards and 3-month subscription fees with a total value of 2 billion VND to give to people affected by storm No.

The Provincial Red Cross Society received gifts worth 2 billion VND from VNPT Phu Tho to give to people affected by storm No. 3.

All the artifacts donated by VNPT Phu Tho will be distributed to localities and areas severely affected by the circulation of storm No. 3 in a timely, public, transparent, and appropriate manner, with the right purpose and target according to regulations. Thereby, helping people ensure smooth communication, contributing to the early stabilization of life and production and business activities.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts from the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society to people affected by storm No. 3 in Ha Hoa district.

Thus, by 3:00 p.m. on September 16, the Provincial Red Cross Society had led more than 100 volunteer groups to provide direct support to flooded areas in the province. At the same time, it received nearly 530 million VND in cash; dozens of tons of goods and necessities including: Banh Chung, instant noodles, rice, milk, water, ham, sausage, dry food... from 35 organizations and individuals with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND to distribute to localities and areas affected by storm No. 3.
