From 2022, October every year will be chosen as Digital Consumption Month. This is an activity in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10). This year's Digital Consumption Month takes place with many practical contents to encourage and promote to all people, businesses, and state agencies to actively use and apply digital payments in financial transactions.

According to information from the National Committee on Digital Transformation, the purpose of launching this year's Digital Consumption Month is to call on the government to make efforts to improve the quality of online public service provision; businesses to make efforts to bring production and business activities to the digital environment; build a digital platform to serve the people; provide digital products and services to serve social needs; have preferential policies to encourage people to use digital products and services. The community digital technology group strives to "go to every alley, knock on every door, guide each person" on the skills to use online services, online shopping, online payment and protect themselves from risks in the digital environment. Responding to Digital Consumption Month, on the National Digital Transformation Portal (https://dx.gov.vn), more than 50 businesses operating in the fields of: Digital payment; telecommunications; e-commerce; transportation; digital television; e-books; digital platforms; network information security; digital signatures; national domain names... have registered to participate in implementing preferential policies for consumption of digital products and services to encourage people and businesses to actively implement digital consumption forms.
In Khanh Hoa, to promote cashless payments, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to implement specific activities in schools and medical facilities. To date, 100% of schools and medical facilities under the province have implemented cashless payments. Community digital technology groups have supported the creation of QR pay codes for cashless payments for businesses and residents in the province. Digital consumption is an inevitable trend in the digital age and this is also a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of digital transformation today.
