For his first attempt at cinema, Le Tuan Khang said he was nervously waiting for the audience's comments. He and the character have many similarities, such as coming from a poor background, after struggling in the city, returning to the countryside because they couldn't find a job.
TikTokers follow the series Flip side From part six (released in 2023), I admire Ly Hai's path to filmmaking. In October 2024, when the director opened a casting round, Tuan Khang was supported by acquaintances and audiences to audition. Because he was afraid of crowds, he never thought about acting professionally.

The number of subscribers increased by millions in just a few weeks. Despite the increased attention, he said his life has not changed much. Le Tuan Khang "does not care about A-list or B-list status", but is happy with the affection of the audience. Every time he goes to film, many people surround him, giving him gifts from his hometown such as fruit and grass jelly tea.
With Le Tuan Khang, participating in the movie Ly Hai was a challenge that he "had to muster up all his courage to face". After the film, he began to think about the long-term future of acting, looking for opportunities to practice more with veteran directors. "I have no intention of moving to the city because I still want to work in the countryside. When I have a role, I will drive up to act," he said.
Le Tuan Khang, 23 years old, is from Soc Trang. He said that his childhood was difficult, so after studying in seventh grade, he followed his parents to raise ducks. Seeing his family struggling with farming, he asked to go to Ho Chi Minh City to work for a wood company and drive a motorbike taxi. In 2021, Covid-19 broke out, he returned to his hometown and continued raising ducks. From here, he started making short videos, recording life in the river delta.
In November 2024, he received the award. Entertainment Creator of the Year at TikTok Awards Vietnam 2024. Owning a TikToker channel with 13.5 million followers, he said he did not have a team behind him to support him but came up with ideas, built the scene, filmed and edited the videos himself.
