Comments on the Draft Political Report of the 18th Congress of the Hanoi City Party Committee:
Promoting the spirit of Thang Long, arousing the desire to rise up
On the morning of August 1, at the Hanoi Press Center, Hanoi Moi Newspaper organized a discussion with the theme "Promoting the spirit of Thang Long - Awakening the aspirations of the capital and the nation; Building a truly exemplary and representative Hanoi Party Committee".
Regarding the content of the Draft Political Report, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Phuc emphasized: "When studying the Draft Political Report, I found many new points. Specifically, the Draft Political Report does not go into theoretical issues but evaluates objectively, accurately and frankly the achievements that the Capital Party Committee has achieved in the 2020-2025 term."
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky emphasized that to complete the documents of the 18th City Party Congress, Hanoi should consult the Central Theoretical Council's contributions from the fields of socio -economics, foreign affairs to building the culture of Hanoi people. Hanoi should also have economic advisory groups; create conditions for those who love the capital to contribute to building Hanoi.
In the document of the 18th Congress of the City Party Committee, the goal by 2030 is set as “Building the Party Committee and political system of the capital Hanoi to be truly exemplary, united, clean, strong, comprehensive and representative”. Sharing his views on this content, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Phuc said that this goal covers the current goal of Party building and rectification.

Today (August 2), the 1st Congress of An Khanh Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030 officially opened.

To prevent "green lungs" from becoming a danger
During every rainy and stormy season, tree falls continue to occur in Hanoi, causing property damage and threatening people's lives.
The continuous occurrence of trees falling and breaking during storms has made many people feel insecure. Ms. Le Bich Phuong (Thanh Xuan Ward) worried: “Every time there is a storm, I am very afraid to go through roads with big trees. If the tree suddenly falls, I don’t know what to do.”
Tran Hoang Duc, Deputy Head of the General Planning Department, Hanoi Green Parks and Trees One Member Co., Ltd., said: “The company regularly coordinates with the Technical Infrastructure Management Center and local authorities to review, inspect, and promptly detect cases of rotten and dangerous trees for handling to ensure safety for people and property as well as the urban landscape.”
Architect Pham Anh Tuan, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, said that the fundamental solution is to increase the frequency of inspections, detect diseased trees and trees with signs of decay early to cut them down promptly; height control also needs to be taken seriously.
Will the corporate bond market recovery continue?

In addition to the maturity pressure, the value of real estate bonds with delayed principal and interest payments in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at about VND16,000 billion.
