Hanoi Moi Newspaper Youth Union gives gifts to disadvantaged children in Hong Ha ward

This is a practical activity to welcome the success of the 18th Congress of Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the first daily publication of Hanoi Moi Newspaper (October 24, 1957 - October 24, 2025).

The program presented 10 meaningful gifts to children living in the boarding house area. Each gift included milk, school supplies, and cash with a total value of about 1.2 million VND. The funds were taken from the Youth Union fund and voluntary contributions from staff and reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper.

Speaking at the program, the representative of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Youth Union said that with the spirit of youth volunteerism, the Youth Union wishes to contribute a small part to encourage and motivate children to excel in life, especially in studying, to become good children and good students. The Youth Union hopes that these gifts will help families reduce their burdens, contributing to bringing joy and laughter to the children.

The old Phuc Xa boarding house area (Hong Ha ward) is home to many working families in difficult circumstances. The timely gifts and sincere care of the members and youth of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Youth Union have been warmly welcomed by the local authorities and people.

The representative of Hong Ha Ward Youth Union expressed deep gratitude for the beautiful action of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Youth Union, and emphasized that this is a source of motivation to help children have more confidence and determination to overcome difficulties and move towards a better future. Hong Ha Ward Youth Union hopes to continue to receive the cooperation and support of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Youth Union in propaganda work and social charity activities in the area.
