Recently, the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment has coordinated with localities to support farmers in applying mechanization to agricultural production, especially synchronous mechanization in cultivation.

Deputy Director of the Hanoi Agricultural Extension Center (Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment) Doan Duc Dan informed that in the spring crop of 2025, the Center will coordinate with localities to continue supporting farmers to bring mechanization into agricultural production, especially machine planting.

General Director of Bao Minh Processing and Trading Joint Stock Company (Dinh Cong Ward) Bui Thi Hanh Hieu said that in order to replicate the tray rice transplanting machine models and improve productivity and quality of agricultural products, localities need to organize agricultural production suitable for machinery and mechanical equipment.

The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment has directed the Hanoi Agricultural Extension Center to continue to develop and implement models of mechanization in production; appraise and disburse loans to households from the City Agricultural Extension Fund to purchase machinery and mechanical equipment to improve productivity, quality, and reduce post-harvest losses.

In early July, a tourist in Ho Chi Minh City, while participating in a paragliding experience at Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang City), had an accident, fell into a dense forest and died. This is just one of the many accidents that have occurred during adventure tourism.

Vice President of Hanoi Tourism Association Nguyen Tien Dat said that licensed units that organize adventure tourism need to have the capacity to organize and train staff and tour guides in specific skills in handling situations and rescue.

Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Pham Van Thuy said that after rare accidents related to adventure tourism and sea tourism, the Administration requested localities and units to tighten management procedures; regularly issue warnings about natural disasters and weather; and improve rescue skills to ensure safety for tourists.

Beware of tricks to distort the "steel shield"

Vietnam People's Public Security Force is a strong and reliable force, protecting national security and social order..jpg

The Vietnam People's Public Security Force is a sharp "sword" and a solid "steel shield" protecting national security and social order and safety.

While the Vietnam People's Public Security force, likened to a "steel shield", is trying its best to protect peaceful life, hostile and reactionary forces are also taking advantage of cyberspace, using extremely sophisticated and cunning tricks, deliberately distorting, falsifying information, and cutting and pasting images to defame and lower the reputation of the Public Security force.

This peace and safety do not come naturally. It is the result of a continuous and tireless effort of the entire political system, from the central to local levels, with correct policies and strategies on economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security.

When approaching information, people need to look at it from many perspectives, put it in a specific context, not just read the title or a short excerpt or just look at the image and believe it immediately. Questions like "What is the purpose of this information?", "Is this source reliable?" should be considered the first layer of protection that must be put in place.

Articles warning about scams selling cheap, beautiful phone numbers on social networks.

After investigating, Mr. Tran Van Hung (Xuan Phuong ward, Hanoi) texted a Facebook account claiming to be an employee of Viettel network and received a photo of his citizen ID card and documents from the network proving ownership of the SIM card.

This employee kept talking on the phone, so he did not hesitate to transfer a deposit of 500,000 VND to keep the "triple" phone number ending in 999 for 2 million VND (market price is about 10-20 million VND).

“However, when I finished transferring the money, the seller’s phone number could not be contacted. Only then did I realize I had been scammed,” Mr. Hung shared.

Lawyer Tran Hoang Vu, Director of AEC Law Firm (Hanoi Bar Association) recommends that in case of being scammed, people should report to local police or report to anti-fraud information portals. Reporting helps authorities collect evidence, investigate and handle the subjects.

Prime Minister's Directive No. 20/CT-TTg has set a new milestone: No motorbikes and scooters using fossil fuels will circulate in Hanoi's Ring Road 1 from July 1, 2026.

These days, a series of used motorbike markets in the capital, from Chua Ha street (Cau Giay ward), Phung Hung (Hoan Kiem ward), Linh Nam (Linh Nam ward) are witnessing clear changes in both the number of transactions, prices of gasoline motorbikes, as well as related consumer tastes.

According to business households, the electric motorbike market has no alternative to high-end scooters or vehicles with strong personality. Therefore, consumers still basically look for traditional options.

Regardless, going through a transitional moment also means that used motorbike businesses that want to survive will have to make appropriate changes to adapt.
