At the program, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with relevant agencies and sponsors to award over 1,000 scholarships with a total value of over 5 billion VND, each worth 5 million VND/year and 01 gift to disadvantaged students in the province. Up to now, hundreds of students have received meaningful scholarships. At the program alone, the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded the final scholarships to 561 students.

Speaking at the Program, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the results of the Association's work and the Red Cross movement in the province in the past time, especially the outstanding results in the Humanitarian Month.

He requested that all levels of the Association in the province continue to overcome difficulties, be proactive, creative, connect and organize many practical and effective activities; continue to promote the core role in humanitarian activities, be a reliable address for people from all walks of life, individuals, organizations, and philanthropists to send their trust, share, and contribute to humanitarian activities.

At the same time, call on Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, units, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people from all walks of life to continue to coordinate, support and accompany the Red Cross Associations at all levels in the province to provide increasingly more effective assistance to the poor and people in difficult circumstances.

Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to individuals and groups

The Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to mobilizing and supporting people to overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods.

Gratitude for the contributions of the Executive Committee members and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Red Cross Association for the 2021-2026 term to the Association's work and the provincial Red Cross movement who have retired and transferred to other jobs.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 19 collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions to humanitarian activities in 2024; the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and individuals with many contributions in mobilizing and supporting people to overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods; the Provincial Red Cross Society expressed gratitude to collectives, individuals, agencies, units, enterprises, and philanthropists who accompanied and supported resources for the humanitarian activities of the Society; expressed gratitude to the contributions of the Executive Committee members and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 term to the work of the Society and the Provincial Red Cross movement who have retired and transferred to other jobs.

Within the framework of the Program, the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival and humanitarian activities in 2025 took place.

As a result, 381 units of blood were received. The Red Cross Society also coordinated with the Department of Health and the Provincial Young Physicians Association to organize humanitarian medical examination and treatment activities for 500 people in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 100 million VND.

At the "Zero-VND Market", about 500 people were supported, each person received a commodity voucher worth 800,000 VND; 500,000 VND in cash; 01 free health care voucher worth 565,000 VND and participated in free medical examination, medicine and gifts.
