On the afternoon of April 4, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Nam, Head of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department ( Dak Lak Provincial Police) said that the unit had just received and processed a report from a female teacher about being blackmailed by a crook and having fabricated information posted on social networks to defame her personal reputation.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nam, after verification, this is an act of editing images to blackmail by fake accounts. This greatly affects the reputation, personal honor and family of the female principal.
"The unit will continue to verify and clarify the subjects causing the above incident. This situation is currently very common, so we have issued many documents instructing people on how to prevent fraud on social networks," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Nam.
Previously, a social worker teacher, principal of a kindergarten in Krong Nang district, filed a complaint. At around 12:00 noon on March 18, Ms. H. received a message from a Facebook account named “Nguyen Duc Manh” asking to get to know him.
Afterwards, the two exchanged messages about the land sale because on the personal page of "Nguyen Duc Manh" there was a lot of information about land sale.
On March 19, the account "Nguyen Duc Manh" texted Ms. H. to introduce a house at 116-118, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 3 (HCMC).
After the sale agreement, the account “Nguyen Duc Manh” asked Ms. H. to add her as a friend via Zalo number 0878.3966… with the nickname “Mặt trời” so that this person could send the location of the land and the two continued to text back and forth to discuss the land sale.
On March 24, Ms. H. suddenly received a strange link to the Zalo account "Mat Troi" and asked her to log in.
Being wary of online scams, Ms. H. refused to log in and was immediately sent messages by the Zalo account "Mat Troi" threatening, challenging, and manipulating her psychologically with the aim of collecting information and images of Ms. H.
A few days later, the account “Mat Troi” and the Facebook account “Nguyen Duc Manh” continuously sent messages saying that they would release sensitive photos of Ms. H. to many groups, and at the same time asked Ms. H. to transfer them 300 million VND.
When they did not get a response, the Zalo account “Mat Troi” and the Facebook account “Nguyen Duc Manh” edited sensitive images and videos , added Ms. H.’s face, and sent them to her relatives and many different groups, causing Ms. H. to panic.
