On October 23, 2025, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee organized a training conference on ensuring network safety, security and protecting State secrets in cyberspace, in the form of direct and online connection to 61 points at commune, ward, department and branch levels in the province, attracting more than 1,300 delegates to attend. The conference aims to update, raise awareness, skills and sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the context of strong development of digital information activities and increasing risk of cyber attacks.

Attending the Conference at the central bridge point were: representatives of the leadership of the advisory agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee; the Provincial Party Committee; the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; the Provincial People's Committee Office; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the province; representatives of the leadership of specialized departments and experts in charge of information technology and security at agencies and units. At 56 commune and ward bridge points, there were the Standing Party Committee; leaders of the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front; representatives of socio-political organizations and cadres, civil servants and public employees in charge of information technology and security at agencies and units.

In his opening speech at the Conference, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee Office emphasized: ensuring network security and protecting State secrets is a key and regular task, directly linked to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, ensuring the effectiveness of leadership, direction and operation of the political system. Organizing training is an urgent requirement, especially in the period of promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation, use of electronic documents, data interconnection systems and online public services.

At the Conference, the reporters of the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Provincial Police presented 02 specialized topics: (1) Guiding the process, providing legal knowledge on ensuring safety, network security and information security in the use of electronic systems, digital devices and the Internet; (2) Identifying risks, challenges and solutions to protect State secrets in cyberspace, especially in the post-arrangement and consolidation of the organization at the grassroots level.

The topics highlight common real-life situations of data leaks, internal information leaks, spam attacks, malware, use of secure digital accounts, skills in managing public equipment and risks when sharing information via social networks; at the same time, guide how to prepare a proposal for information security level for information systems and databases at the unit according to Decree No. 85/2016/ND-CP of the Government .

The training conference has contributed to enhancing the skills of identifying risks, enhancing individual and unit responsibilities, tightening discipline in the management, exploitation and use of Party and State data; at the same time, affirming the province's initiative in ensuring network safety and security, effectively serving the digital transformation process. This is a practical activity in the first year of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on the development of science , technology, innovation and national digital transformation and implementing the Resolution of the 20th Congress of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
