On the morning of July 25, the Lam Dong Provincial Delegation visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and exemplary armed forces units on duty in Phu Quy special zone.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the provincial delegation presented gifts to five families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions; and presented gifts to five typical armed forces units on duty in the special zone, including: Military ; Police; Border Guard Port Authority; Military and Civilian Medical Service of the special zone and the Air Force Terminal Airport.

In addition, three households in difficult circumstances who do not have a house were given funding to build houses, each worth 100 million VND.

Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam and Deputy Provincial Party Secretary Dang Hong Sy presented gifts to revolutionary families.

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, shared that in the history of resistance, Phu Quy was a land rich in revolutionary traditions, despite being a very difficult area, tightly controlled by the enemy. At that time, many islanders fought bravely, sacrificed, and devoted their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation.

As an outpost island, Phu Quy special zone has a particularly important position and role in ensuring national defense and security. In addition, on the island there are many armed forces units performing tasks to maintain the sovereignty of the sacred airspace and sea of the Fatherland.

Comrade Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Comrade Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented gifts to exemplary armed forces.

At the ceremony, the Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee sent his best wishes and warm regards to families of policy beneficiaries , people with revolutionary contributions, and armed forces units on duty in the special zone.

The Party and the State always pay attention to and improve preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions. Provincial leaders and agencies always identify taking care of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions as a political responsibility, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and deep gratitude.
