To prepare for the sale of train tickets for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 and to promptly meet the needs of customers, especially those purchasing tickets for group travel during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company (VNR JSC) announced that it will organize the sale of Lunar New Year tickets for passengers traveling on Thong Nhat trains from February 3, 2026 to March 8, 2026. Ticket sales for group travelers will be organized from September 15, 2025 to September 19, 2025.
From 8:00 AM on September 20, 2025, ticket sales will be organized on all railway ticket sales channels (at train stations, agencies, websites, ticket sales partners, and collection agents).
The Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has instructed its branches and ticket agents to accept group ticket bookings for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in 2026. Priority will be given to units of the People's Armed Forces, universities, colleges, industrial zones, export processing zones, and social organizations. Simultaneously, the announcement will be widely publicized through various media channels to inform customers and encourage them to register for group ticket purchases.
The Sales Department will use the group bookings from various units to advise on ticket sales plans and allocate seats for group bookings; and post information on the website and fanpage.
