Organizing tourism competitions in Son La province in 2025

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Son La has just issued a plan to organize Son La Provincial Tourism Competitions in 2025.

Individuals, organizations and businesses, depending on their field of activity, abilities and strengths, can choose to participate in the following competitions:

Son La tourism slogan writing contest

Contest participants: Vietnamese citizens, domestic and foreign organizations and businesses capable of composing tourism slogans.

Son La tourism logo.

Contest content: Based on the Son La tourism logo, the authors create a Son La tourism slogan that is associated with the content and meaning of the logo, has a high level of generality, ensures that it expresses the meaning and outstanding, unique, and distinct characteristics that are qualified to identify and affirm the Son La tourism brand. The slogan must be short, easy to remember, easy to understand, impressive and not copied.

Contest launch time: From May 5, 2025.

Deadline for submission of entries: August 15, 2025 at the latest.

Prize structure: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 5 consolation prizes.

Tour design and tourism explanation contest of Son La province

For organizations and individuals participating in tourism activities in Son La province; university and college students majoring in tourism, tour guides, and individuals who love to travel nationwide.

Contest content: Contest entries are clips explaining tours, tourist destinations in Son La, exploring natural landscapes, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist destinations, community tourism villages, and types of tourism in Son La province.

Contest launch time: From May 5, 2025.

Registration and submission deadline: August 15, 2025 at the latest.

Award structure: 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 7 C prizes, 10 consolation prizes.

Participants: All Vietnamese citizens who are capable of composing and designing video clips about tourism; groups of authors or units and organizations nationwide.

Content: The entries are scenes filmed from 2024 to the time of the contest, video clips are beautiful moments of natural landscapes, historical and cultural relics, scenic spots, tourist destinations, types of tourism, festivals, cultural and tourism events; moments of life, unique cultural features, customs and practices, introduction of tourism potential and resources in Son La province...

Award for recognition of Son La province tourism brand

Contestants: Organizations, businesses, tourism business households, establishments providing products and services to tourists that meet standards for serving tourists in Son La province.

Contest content: Tourist areas, tourist attractions, tourist accommodation establishments, food establishments, tourist shopping establishments (5 award categories) registering to participate in the award post information (including video clips, information, introductory and promotional images...) of their establishments on the website https://cuocthidulich.vhttdl.sonla.gov.vn.

The award organizing committee will call on organizations, individuals, businesses and tourists to participate in voting and evaluating product quality, service quality... according to the level: Good - Fair - Average. Based on the voting results, an appraisal will be organized to select typical units according to the award categories for consideration and awarding.

Contest launch time: From May 5, 2025.

Organizations, units, and individuals participate in voting on the online voting portal of the Organizing Committee; the voting portal will be locked until 23:45 on September 5, 2025.

Prize structure:

+ Award 5 awards to groups of other accommodation establishments (tourist apartments, motels, homestays, camping sites...) with outstanding products and services.

Son La Tourism Photo Contest

Contestants: Individuals, groups of authors, professional and non-professional agencies and organizations, students who are Vietnamese citizens, foreigners living, studying and working in all regions of Vietnam.

Content: Images reflect the vivid and authentic beauty of the land, life and people of Son La today through the lens of tourism; destinations, natural landscapes, scenic spots, historical relics, cultural heritages in Son La province; moments of life, beauty of daily life, customs and practices, cultural beauty of Son La ethnic groups; types of tourism, unique cultural and tourist architectural works... in Son La province and were created in the period from 2024 - 2025.
