The films screened during the Commemorative Film Week are feature films and documentaries with appropriate content and themes to serve the people, soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions in Nghe An province. Specifically, the films include: Documentary "Sketches from the Heart" produced by the People's Army Cinema; feature film "Childhood Moon" produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company; feature film "Peach, Pho and Piano" produced by Feature Film Joint Stock Company I.
Along with that, within the framework of the Film Week, there will also be an exchange program with artists and film crews at the 414th Engineering Brigade (Military Region IV) and the people of Nam Dan district, Nghe An province on May 13 and at Vinh University (No. 182 Le Duan, Vinh city, Nghe An province) on May 14.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Film Week is organized to express respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, outstanding cultural celebrity; to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh. Through activities, the Film Week continues to propagate andeducate Ho Chi Minh's ideology; promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; and promote the image of Nghe An homeland to the whole country and internationally.
In addition, through cinematographic works, we aim to educate historical traditions, foster and promote patriotism, revolutionary heroism, solidarity, national pride and self-reliance; affirm the achievements of our Party and people in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.
Cinematographic works also aim to propagate and popularize the Party's guidelines, policies and the State's laws; contribute to improving people's knowledge and serving people's cultural enjoyment needs.
