On April 29, 2023, the Royal Wave Park artificial wave sea complex in Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 metropolis was recognized by the World Record Organization as the "Artificial wave saltwater lake complex within the urban area, with the largest total area in the world".
The record certificate awarding ceremony took place on the opening night of the opening week of the Capital of Light Square and the Summer Welcome Event Series at the 1,200ha Vinhomes coastal urban super complex.
In addition to the above world record, the leaders of the Vietnam Record Organization also awarded 2 Vietnamese records to Royal Wave Park: "The largest artificial wave pool complex in Vietnam", and Laguna Saltwater Lake set the record "The largest artificial saltwater lake in Vietnam".

Royal Wave Park Artificial Wave Complex is a complex located in Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 metropolis. The complex includes 6 artificial wave pools with a total area of 5.4 hectares with waves up to 2.8 meters high; 15 meter high waterfall, 30 meter high artificial mountain, Sandy Park sand park of more than 1 hectare with white sand carefully selected and meticulously transported from Nha Trang to create a space like high-class resorts, and Laguna artificial saltwater lake of 9.3 hectares. The entire project forms an Artificial Wave Complex with an area of 18 hectares.
Surrounding Royal Wave Park is a perfect landscape inspired by famous works in the world, creating a unique coastal urban area in the North. Thousands of tons of fine sand, meeting cleanliness standards, were brought from Nha Trang for filling.
