Discussion: Ministry of Industry and Trade fosters digital transformation to meet new requirements

On November 13, 2025, at the headquarters of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, a seminar with the theme " Ministry of Industry and Trade : Promoting digital transformation training to meet new requirements" was held to exchange and discuss solutions to improve the quality of training and fostering political theory in the whole industry.

In the context that the whole country is promoting industrialization and modernization associated with comprehensive digital transformation, strengthening the ideological foundation and political mettle of the staff and Party members of the Industry and Trade sector is of special importance.

Realizing that, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade identified the work of studying and thoroughly grasping the Party's resolutions and implementing the Government 's action program as key tasks to build a team of cadres with strong political will, high professional capacity, ready to meet development requirements in the new situation.

The seminar was attended by Ms. Nguyen Minh Hue, Acting Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Quang Hong, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Also present were Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh, Deputy Head of Digital Transformation Department, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy; Ms. Le Hai An, Deputy Director of the Institute for Industry and Trade Policy and Strategy.

At the seminar, delegates reviewed the results achieved in training and fostering cadres, and exchanged experiences and shared effective implementation models in studying and implementing the Central Resolution.

Notably, opinions focused on analyzing the leadership and direction role of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in organizing the study, research, and dissemination of Party resolutions in a practical and effective direction.

Studying and implementing the resolution is considered an important channel to raise political awareness, unify thoughts and actions in the whole industry. Delegates also emphasized the benefits of concentrated study, helping cadres and party members grasp the resolution's content and apply it to practical work. Thereby, spreading the spirit of innovation, responsibility and solidarity in the party organization.

In parallel with political training, the Industry and Trade sector is promoting digital transformation throughout the system. The 4.0 industrial revolution and digital economy open up many opportunities, while also posing new requirements for management, operation and technology adaptation capacity. Implementing the direction of the Central and the Government, the Party Committee and the Minister of Industry and Trade have issued many directive documents and implemented the digital transformation plan from Party work to professional activities, towards building a modern, transparent and effective apparatus.

The discussion organized by the Industry and Trade Newspaper created a forum for open exchange, contributing to spreading the spirit of learning and innovation throughout the industry. The contents shared at the program will be an important basis for the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to continue to improve the training, fostering political ideology and digital capacity for cadres and party members in the new development period.
