Gold prices rose strongly today amid the decline of the USD in the international market. The USD index is currently down to 105.5 points, down 0.47% compared to the previous session. However, according to analysts, gold prices have not yet broken out of the 2,700 USD/ounce range after the downward adjustment at the end of November due to many factors affecting bonds.

Specifically, the latest data on the US employment report for November showed that the number of new jobs created in the month reached 227,000, higher than the previous forecast, reflecting the positive economic situation in the US. This may contribute to the US Federal Reserve (FED) considering the level of reduction of the base interest rate at this December policy meeting.

Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold bars was kept unchanged by businesses such as SJC Company, PNJ, DOJI, and Bao Tin Minh Chau at VND82.7 million/tael for buying and VND85.2 million/tael for selling. The price of gold bars stagnated amid the continued increase in world prices and plain gold rings.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 81.5 million VND/tael.
