Dam Vinh Hung organizes his last old music live show

This afternoon (January 17), singer Dam Vinh Hung held a press conference to introduce two old music live shows that will take place in March in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, called Ngay em den sao troi. The press conference gathered many guests such as Duong Trieu Vu, Uyen Linh, Trung Quan, Ngoc Thanh Tam... They are also the singers who will perform with Dam Vinh Hung in the upcoming music nights.

Sharing with Dan Viet , Dam Vinh Hung said that he will have a duet with his "dream lover" My Tam at this live show. The male singer hopes that the performance will bring the audience into a space full of nostalgia, melodious music and full of emotions. "I don't want people to think of sobbing and sentimentality when mentioning bolero. We can completely enjoy bolero in a more relaxed, gentle way and at the same time not lose the beauty and inherent identity of bolero music."

The singer of "Say tinh" also revealed that he tried to convince My Tam to participate in the live show, even though her schedule was almost full: "I texted Tam: Baby, I'm doing the last old music live show, in the future I might have another project about old music, but I will never do a live show again. I hope you join this time so we can have good memories together. My Tam happily accepted. Initially, I wanted her to appear in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, but My Tam had a previous performance schedule so she could only participate in the music night in Hanoi. Usually, if you want to invite My Tam to sing, you have to book a year in advance. I think, besides the brotherly relationship, old music is also a "land" that My Tam loves and wants to conquer."

When asked about the fee paid to My Tam at the show, Dam Vinh Hung confided: "As long-time colleagues in the profession, both of us are a bit shy when mentioning this issue. Currently, My Tam's side has sent the contract, but the fee section is still blank. I'm also a bit confused and nervous, not knowing what she thinks ( laughs )".

Dam Vinh Hung also revealed that to make the two music nights more exciting and colorful, he invited the most popular singers among young people at the moment such as: Truc Nhan, Uyen Linh, Trung Quan. Mashups such as Rain at midnight outside the street or Farewell to sad rainy night, Age far away from people ... will be performed by Dam Vinh Hung and the guests in a new, youthful but still emotional style.

In this program, the male singer himself is the music director, composing the songs for the music nights, to harmonize the new and old elements. The male singer said that in the past time, he has made about 15 mashups and selected them into 10 for the final list. There are still many "new toys" (Dam Vinh Hung's funny way of calling his ideas) that will be performed on the stage of the live show "Ngay em den sao troi".
