Tom Cruise - the legendary action star - and director Christopher McQuarrie decided to push the limits to new heights when choosing Svalbard, a remote Norwegian archipelago near the Arctic Circle, as the main setting for many dramatic action scenes.

The entire Arctic filming process was carried out in extremely harsh conditions. Temperatures were so low that boiling water would instantly turn to snow, the wind was so cold that it could cause frostbite, the glaciers were dangerous and could crack at any moment, and wild animals such as polar bears were constantly lurking. Every minute of filming was carefully calculated, as the crew only had a few safe hours a day to work outdoors. The cast was kept warm with hair dryers between takes to avoid hypothermia.

CGV representative said that the film crew spent 4 months preparing and 10 days filming in the North Pole. It was not only a cinematic journey, but also a true “mission impossible” - a place where only brave and passionate people dare to step forward.

Not only is “Mission: Impossible – Final Karma” a physical challenge, it also continues Tom Cruise’s “no stunt double” tradition. At the age of 62, the actor continues to amaze viewers with a scene of jumping out of a flying biplane - filmed with a camera mounted directly on his body.

Tom Cruise says his love of the sky began as a boy who loved climbing trees and stargazing. A childhood television show that featured people walking on airplane wings left a lasting impression on him and shaped Ethan Hunt, the iconic action character he has played for three decades.

The commitment to authenticity is not limited to Tom Cruise. “We shot in South Africa, which is a breathtakingly beautiful place,” says Hayley Atwell, who starred alongside him in the previous film. “But the Arctic is a real challenge in every way. That’s what makes the tension, the realism, and the action scenes so breathtaking on screen.”

In addition to the action, the audience will also be treated to breathtaking shots of the Arctic, a land that has never appeared in a Hollywood blockbuster before. The harsh climate did not prevent the director and producers from including stunning images of wild and rugged nature in the film, making the film a truly global cinematic experience as the creative team had envisioned.
