Master Huynh Tu Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Nursing Association, President of the Dong Nai Nursing Association, said that nurses are not only the largest force in the healthcare system but also the key force in ensuring service quality, promoting patient satisfaction, and realizing sustainable healthcare development goals.
In addition to the role of patient care, nurses have been clearly demonstrating their roles in management, health education, disease prevention and rehabilitation. Investing in the development of nursing is a smart medical choice, an effective and sustainable socio -economic development strategy.
Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Van Binh sent his best wishes to the nursing, midwifery and technical staff in the whole province. At the same time, he assessed that the Nursing Association is the best performing association among the 7 member associations of the health sector, with many creative ways to gather the team and improve the quality of activities.
Having spent thousands of nights on duty with nurses at hospitals, Dr. Nguyen Van Binh understands the silent sacrifices, joys, sorrows, happiness and suffering of this team. There have been cases of exposure to HIV, and the risk of contracting meningococcal meningitis during the course of work. There are also times when nurses and doctors have to take care of patients while also being on guard against assaults from patients’ families…
The leaders of the Department of Health believe that in order for society to have an accurate view of the role of nursing, each nurse must always love, respect, and be proud of themselves and the work they are doing. With institutional problems, it is necessary to wait for leaders at all levels to resolve them, but the leaders of the Department of Health will always support and create favorable conditions for the nursing team to develop further, ensuring the lives of the nursing team.
On this occasion, 35 individuals with outstanding achievements in building and developing the association were awarded by the Provincial Nursing Association.
