According to information from the Department of Culture of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups, from June 1 to 30, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), many activities will take place with the theme "Family Festival Day", to honor the profound traditional cultural values ​​of Vietnamese families, to encourage and motivate families to build prosperous, equal, progressive and happy families.

According to the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups, in response to and celebration of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, 2025 with the theme "Happy Family, Prosperous Nation", the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has organized activities on the occasion of "Family Day" to continue introducing the culture, customs and practices of the ethnic groups, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups to visitors, contributing to enhancing exchanges and connections between ethnic groups, as well as the attachment of each family member, targeting family visitors to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

June activities with the participation of more than 100 people of 16 ethnic groups (Nung, Tay, Mong, Dao, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Co Tu, Raglai, E De, Khmer); with the participation of 11 localities where people have daily activities: Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Hanoi , Ha Giang, Son La, Hue city, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Soc Trang.

The highlight of the "Family Festival" theme activity is the program introducing the cultural colors of Binh Phuoc province. Including the activity of reenacting the Community Reunion Festival (Tam r'nglap bon) of the M'nong ethnic group in Binh Phuoc province, one of the unique festivals, often held when the M'nong ethnic community wants to strengthen relations with other ethnic communities through village elders, prestigious people in the community.

The folk song and dance program "M'nong Echo - The Vitality of the Great Forest" introduces the unique culture of the M'nong ethnic group in Binh Phuoc province, with performances of unique traditional musical instruments such as lithophones, gongs, etc. of the M'nong ethnic group; performing folk art forms such as singing, dancing, music, praising the beauty of the M'nong people to connect, exchange and express national pride, love for the homeland. The brocade costume performance program "Sac Tham Bazan" introduces costumes designed and woven from traditional brocade, innovated to suit current trends and accompanied by traditional jewelry and tools, etc.

In addition, the program also has activities to introduce the cultural space of the M'nong people of Binh Phuoc province at the Village such as: Displaying and exhibiting images, artifacts, costumes and ethnic musical instruments, introducing and displaying about 30 images of the culture of the M'nong people of Binh Phuoc province; introducing the potentials and strengths of economy - tourism, characteristics of the land, culture, people of Binh Phuoc homeland, typical destinations of Binh Phuoc province; introducing OCOP products, tourism products, weaving, handicrafts, traditional musical instruments...

Organizing the teaching of folk songs, folk dances, folk music, traditional crafts and experiential activities, aiming to teach how to recognize and perform gongs and primitive musical instruments made from bamboo, dried gourds...; performing and experiencing traditional crafts such as brocade weaving, traditional weaving of the M'nong people; performing and experiencing the "space of pounding rice to feed the army" of the M'nong people in Binh Phuoc province; experiencing folk games of the M'nong people...; Introducing the M'nong culinary culture space, demonstrating the stages of preparing traditional dishes and drinks of the M'nong people in Binh Phuoc province.

Within the framework of June activities with the theme "Family Festival", at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, there will be many cultural and artistic activities of the people who are working daily in the Village such as: The exchange program "I love the Central Highlands village" with cultural activities, arts, folk performances... of the Central Highlands ethnic groups; the exchange program "Happy Family Festival" of the people who are working daily in the Village; cultural and sports activities with the theme "Family Festival" such as: Introducing the beauty of family cultural activities, experiencing folk games, traditional crafts, learning about ethnic culture, introducing folk songs, folk dances, ethnic musical instruments...
