- Can you tell us about your role in the Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025 contest, as well as your impressions of Nha Trang City?

- I participated in the Miss Vietnam Sea and Islands 2025 contest as the Head of the Jury. Accompanying the contestants from the beginning, through the semi-finals and the final night, I always wanted to be able to support the contestants as much as possible so that each contestant could perform well in their competition. In general, the contestants participating in the contest are talented, but they are still young, so they need to learn more to gradually improve. In addition to the time spent on the contest, I also had interesting experiences and learned about Nha Trang City. I have been to Nha Trang to attend the Golden Kite Awards ceremony and I found that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is a place that can develop the best cinema today. This place has a very beautiful, poetic and rich climate, weather, and natural scenery. Recently, when the Vietnam Cinema Association coordinated with Khanh Hoa province to organize the Golden Kite Award ceremony, it was a necessary thing to build this place into a film city as many people wish. This is also a good opportunity to promote the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to domestic and international friends. But in addition to the award ceremony, in my opinion, the leaders of Khanh Hoa province and those working in the film industry need to coordinate closely with each other to support film crews to make films in Khanh Hoa. I myself also hope to have the opportunity to participate in a film made in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
- Recently, TV audiences have rarely seen People's Artist Lan Huong appear in new films. Is this a break or are you preparing for a new film project?
- In fact, in the past time, I have not appeared in new films on VTV. For a veteran actor like me, this is normal, because life is often brought to life in films, colorful and diverse, and it is necessary for directors to see my ability to suit each role. So when assigned a role, I always try to do my best and that is a happiness. In my mind, for a professional actor, there is no concept of short or long roles, main or supporting roles, but the important thing is to participate in films to serve the audience. When accepting any role, the actor must show all his passion and sense of responsibility to fulfill his duty of bringing values to the audience through that role. In work, as well as in life, I see myself living mainly with faith, love for the homeland, family, and friends, then I will receive happiness in return. And when working with the mindset of always wanting to bring joy to everyone, you will not feel tired or have any difficulties that can stop you.
- In addition to her role as an actress, the audience also knows People's Artist Lan Huong as someone who regularly makes clips introducing and promoting cuisine . Can you share more about this?
- Recently, on my social media account, I often post clips introducing cuisine and how to prepare dishes with the hope of spreading positive things to all audiences, especially young people. Besides, I also want everyone to understand and love more the beauty of national culture, especially culinary culture. I am fortunate to have worked in many places in Vietnam, so I have the opportunity to enjoy and learn about delicious and typical dishes of each region. Wherever I go, I want to share about the dishes and my experiences with friends and people across the country so that when everyone has the opportunity to visit those places, they can enjoy and understand more about the people and life of each locality. For example, when I visited Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa this time, I went on a tour around Nha Trang and also filmed an introduction to a dish of the coastal city that, in my opinion, is very warm, delicious and quite interesting. I don't know if this is a typical dish of Nha Trang or not, but after tasting it, I found it very wonderful.

People's Artist Lan Huong's real name is Nguyen Thi Lan Huong, born in 1961, and worked at the Vietnam Drama Theater until her retirement. During her career, she won the Best Actress award at the 2001 International Film Festival in Singapore for the movie Guava Season. People's Artist Lan Huong is also a familiar face to television audiences with many impressive roles.
