The report at the conference showed that in 2024, the youth of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering made efforts to research, with nearly 500 topics and initiatives accepted by scientific councils at all levels and effectively applied in practice. Of which, 113 topics and initiatives of the General Department's youth participated in the 25th Creative Youth Award in the Army; as a result, 44 works won awards, including: 4 second prizes, 11 third prizes and 29 consolation prizes.
With its achievements, the General Department's Political Department was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of National Defense for organizing and participating in the Creative Youth Award in the Army in 2025 and the period 2020-2025.
For the Contest to learn about the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Unification of the country, after more than 2 months of implementation, the agencies and units in the General Department have completed the organization of the contest at their level with 6,858 handwritten entries and nearly 100 quality works; selected 98 works to participate in the contest at the General Department level; then, selected 13 works to participate in the contest at the military level. As a result, the whole General Department has 1 cluster of works winning the A prize, 1 work winning the B prize; 1 work winning the consolation prize.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien expressed his joy and excitement when realizing that, year by year, the works and projects of the General Department's youth participating in the Creative Youth Award in the Army and participating in the military and national level competitions have been increasingly invested in, increasing in both quantity and quality, with high practical applicability, and the rate of winning awards year after year is higher than the previous year. Emphasizing that the potential of the General Department's youth is huge, with a large number of cadres, union members and young people working in many fields, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested that, from the achieved results, in the coming time, the Party Committees, commanders of agencies, units and union members and young people must firmly grasp the viewpoints, policies and guidelines on youth, youth work in the Army and science and technology work in the new period. It is necessary to clearly perceive that scientific research is one of the regular and important tasks; considering the development of military science as one of the driving forces for building agencies and units.
