Comrade Dong Van Sung, Chief of Provincial Statistics, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the General Census of Bac Ninh Province, said: By July 28, the province had completed 2,489/3,929 areas, 3 days ahead of schedule. To achieve this result, the Provincial Steering Committee and the Standing Team regularly reviewed and updated the implementation status, promptly removed difficulties and ensured all conditions for the survey. Notably, due to changes in the organization of the local administrative apparatus according to new regulations, some steering committees and standing teams at the district and commune levels no longer exist, causing difficulties in direction and organization. In this situation, along with the whole country, the province flexibly adjusted the plan: Collecting information from commune ballots from June 15 to June 30, instead of from July 1 according to the original plan of the Central Government, to suit the actual situation.
Compared to previous surveys, the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census has many new features including: expanded information content, more modern collection methods, and strong application of information technology in checking, processing, and completing data. The provincial census steering committees at all levels have regularly directed, monitored, inspected, and supervised the implementation of data collection at the grassroots level. Reporting and updating progress have also been carried out regularly and seriously by localities. Information and communication between the provincial Census Steering Committee and the commune-level steering committees have been maintained smoothly. Thanks to that, professional problems in the first days of collecting information in the area have been handled and resolved promptly. Problems arising during the census process such as: Incomplete survey form software, duplicate households in the list of declarations, and professional problems arising during the process of collecting information in the area have been promptly supplemented by the Central Steering Committee.
Mr. Tran Thai Binh and the investigators of Phuc Hoa commune visited each household in Luc Lieu Tren village and Tien Son village to collect data for the General Census. In Phuc Hoa commune, after the administrative unit arrangement, there were 38 survey areas, more than 5,860 households surveyed in agriculture, forestry and fishery, accounting for 95.38% of the total households in the commune. Mr. Binh shared: “The current scale of the commune is larger than before, so we need to be familiar with the area. As an investigator, I have tried my best to complete the assigned task well.”
In addition, propaganda activities about this General Census have been promoted with many diverse forms such as banners, slogans, loudspeakers, mobile propaganda vehicles, etc. Due to good propaganda work, the General Census has received support and cooperation from a large number of survey subjects.
According to the Provincial Statistics Office, up to now, the collection of information for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census has been implemented according to plan and schedule. The goal of completing information collection in the area by July 30, 2025 has been achieved throughout the province.
