General rehearsal of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hai Phong - Heroic City and the art program "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up"

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of May 11, at the square of the Political - Administrative Center of the North Cam River New Urban Area (Thuy Nguyen City), the City People's Committee held a rehearsal for the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong - Heroic City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the art program "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise up" to open the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

Comrades: Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong ; Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City People's Council; Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended and directed.

The program consists of 2 parts: The ceremony to celebrate and receive the title of "Heroic City" took place solemnly, with an elaborate opening scene, showing a Hai Phong that is both traditional and modern, with a glorious past, a present of remarkable development and reaching towards a bright future.

Part 2 is a special art program consisting of 3 chapters: "Hai Phong - a land of talented people"; "The heroic song of loyalty and determination to win"; and "Hai Phong - belief and aspiration to rise up", depicting important historical marks of Hai Phong from ancient times, through the process of building and defending the Fatherland until today.

This part combines music , dance, choreography, live stage, applying advanced technology: 3D Mapping, Lazer Mapping, maximum sound, special effects lighting, artistic fireworks... promising to create a strong impression on the public.

City leaders and the Arts Council contributed ideas to perfect the program.

At the program, city leaders and the Arts Council gave suggestions to the crew to complete the program before it officially took place on the evening of May 13, broadcast live on VTV1 channel, digital platforms, rebroadcast on TV channels and social networking platforms of the Hai Phong City Press and Communications Center and a number of TV channels of other localities./.
