Summary of the implementation of Decision No. 75/2013/QD-TTg and Decision No. 35/2017/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister

On April 9, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 held a conference to review the implementation of Decision No. 75/2013/QD-TTg and Decision No. 35/2017/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on policies and guarantees for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 chaired the conference.

Implementing the Prime Minister's decisions on policies and regimes and ensuring the work for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains, the Provincial Military Command has proactively coordinated with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), the Provincial Veterans Association and departments, branches, and localities to carry out the work of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains; identifying the identities of martyrs with missing information; receiving, managing and using funding sources and equipment, ensuring strict, public, and proper regulations. From 2014-2023, the Provincial Military Command conducted 175 surveys and searches, collecting 161 martyrs' remains to the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, ensuring proper regulations and protocols...

At the conference, the Steering Committee members focused on discussing, giving opinions and recommendations on a number of issues to resolve difficulties in carrying out the task of searching and collecting martyrs' graves in the coming time, such as: Increasing the level of support for means, equipment and funding for forces participating in the search and collection of martyrs' graves...

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, the Party Committees, authorities, Steering Committee 515 at all levels and relevant agencies and units continue to focus on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the Prime Minister's decisions on regimes, policies and work to ensure organizations and individuals performing the task of searching and collecting martyrs' remains with a high sense of responsibility. The Provincial Military Command shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to advise and propose specific solutions to resolve difficulties and shortcomings in the search and collection of martyrs' remains; map martyrs' graves, compile and make lists of martyrs, and verify information on martyrs' records. The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with relevant sectors and units to review and manage martyrs' records and collection records; receive and organize solemn burials of martyrs' remains. Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Ninh Thuan Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Military Command, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Provincial Veterans Association to build specialized pages, topics, and columns to propagate the regimes and policies of the Party and State on the task of searching for and gathering martyrs' graves... On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 8 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Prime Minister's decisions on regimes, policies, and assurance work for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching for and gathering martyrs' graves.
