( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of June 11, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense organized the Summary and Awarding Ceremony of the 24th Creative Youth in the Army. General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense chaired the ceremony.

The 24th Creative Youth Award in the Army continues to be widely deployed throughout the army, with 777 projects from 42 units under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense participating in the following fields: Information technology; Military social sciences and humanities; Chemistry, materials, environment; Education and training, Military training; Weapons - Ammunition; Electronics, telecommunications, automation; Mechanics, power, military construction; Military logistics; Military medicine and pharmacy; Culture and arts (an increase of 161 projects compared to the 23rd Award, with 01 unit having a project participating in the award for the first time - the Government Cipher Committee). The vast majority of projects and initiatives participating in the 24th Award are of good quality, with practical effects on national defense - security, economy, society, and are closely evaluated and accepted from the grassroots level; Research content is closely linked to the actual tasks of the unit, has the ability to develop, apply in practice and has been put into mass production 0. Many topics and initiatives are of special importance, mastering basic technology, core technology, alternative material technology, applying digital transformation, proposing new and advanced technical solutions, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the cause of modernization of the Army, bringing practical effects in training, combat readiness, education and training, production labor, ensuring service; providing scientific arguments to help the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense propose policies and solutions in protecting the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands, building a lean, compact and strong Vietnam People's Army.


General Phan Van Giang awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements participating in the 24th Creative Youth Award in the Army.

Based on the evaluation results of specialized councils, on April 19, 2024, the 24th Military Creative Youth Award Council held an evaluation conference, resulting in 429 awarded works (183 topics, 246 initiatives), reaching a rate of 55.21%, specifically: First Prize: 06 works (05 topics, 01 initiative); Second Prize: 94 works (46 topics, 48 ​​initiatives); Third Prize: 150 works (73 topics, 77 initiatives); Encouragement Prize: 179 works (59 topics, 120 initiatives).





Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff, the General Department of Politics and leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union together with Central Ministries, Departments and Branches awarded prizes to individuals who won First Prize and Second Prize of the 24th Creative Youth Award in the Army.

From the above results, the Council of the 24th Creative Youth Award in the Army proposed that the Head of the Ministry of National Defense propose that the Prime Minister award Certificates of Merit to 04 outstanding collectives in organizing and participating in the Award; the Minister of National Defense award Certificates of Merit to 17 outstanding collectives in organizing and participating in the Award and 16 authors participating in the Award whose works won the First Prize; the Director of the General Department of Politics certified the award for 429 winning works; the Central Youth Union awarded the Creative Youth Badge to authors whose works won the First Prize...

The 24th Creative Youth Award in the Army was held to evaluate the results of the Award, to commend and reward young authors, thereby encouraging and motivating the youth of the entire army to continue to promote learning, scientific research, promote the pioneering and creative role, and contribute to building the Army, building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 76th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2024).
