Third place went to Brandon Wu (USA) with a total score of -19 strokes, while Akshay Bhatia (USA) ranked fourth with a total score of -18 strokes.
On the final day, Jon Rahm was no longer as impressive as on the penultimate day. The Spaniard still shot 4 strokes below the standard number of the day, but that was not enough for Jon Rahm to catch up with the very steady Tony Finau.

However, after winning the title, Tony Finau still had great respect for Jon Rahm. Tony Finau said: "Jon Rahm is still the best, he always knows what to do in the decisive shots.
The title at the Mexican Open is Tony Finau's 6th championship on the PGA Tour (the world's most prestigious and valuable golf tournament system), and his 4th title in just the past 9 months.
With the title at the 2023 Mexico Open, Tony Finau won a prize of 1.386 million USD (more than 32.5 billion VND), and climbed to number 11 in the world.
