According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport, to ensure traffic safety and convenience for people traveling to exam locations during the 2024 high school exam.

This Department assigned the Road Traffic Infrastructure Management Center and the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center to check and adjust the time at traffic lights and routes leading to appropriate examination locations.

Relevant units are on duty at important intersections, towards and near exam locations (list according to the Departmentof Education and Training) to reasonably regulate traffic flow and avoid congestion.

The Urban Traffic Management Center must strengthen the monitoring of traffic through the "magic eye" system - cameras to quickly respond to traffic jams, congestion, etc. From there, report and coordinate with relevant units to regulate traffic appropriately.

The Department of Transport Inspectorate sent people to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City Police, and the Youth Volunteer Force to direct traffic, ensuring order and traffic safety during the high school exam period.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport requested the Youth Volunteer Public Service One Member Co., Ltd. to regularly inspect the technical safety and environmental protection conditions of ferries, buoys, bridges, etc. at ferry points managed by the unit in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the same time, the above unit also needs to send more people to regulate traffic when arriving at both ends of the ferry, and coordinate with functional forces to ensure traffic.

In particular, a priority lane will be arranged for vehicles to cross the ferry (at Binh Khanh ferry terminal) and a spare ferry will be set up to transport exam papers, exam participants, invigilators, and candidates.

Take care of candidates from the small things

Candidates for the 2024 high school graduation exam will complete exam registration procedures on June 26. On June 27, there will be literature and math exams, and on June 28, there will be natural sciences /social sciences and foreign languages ​​exams.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong said that through the ministry's inspections in a number of localities, it showed that one of the things that localities and schools have done very well is supporting candidates.

Not only supporting students in reviewing and consolidating knowledge to achieve the desired results in the exam, but the care also includes small things such as collecting phone numbers of many people in the candidate's family so that in case the candidate is late, there will be a plan to pick them up, or knowing each candidate who lives far away to support transportation to the exam location.

Especially for candidates with difficult circumstances and disadvantaged candidates, localities have plans to support them both materially and spiritually so that they can confidently participate in the exam.
