According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, from now until the end of the year, the City will focus on removing difficulties for projects, speeding up key projects; speeding up disbursement of public investment capital, developing infrastructure, taking public investment as the lead, activating and attracting effective use of social resources:

To do this, the City requires heads of departments, branches, People's Committees of wards, communes, special zones and investors to consider the disbursement of public investment capital as a very important political task, requiring the mobilization of the entire political system to implement, closely monitor and regularly inspect the implementation; resolutely carry out compensation and site clearance to hand over the site to the construction contractor, not allowing the project to wait for the site.

Competent agencies must implement a clear and specific mechanism of assignment, decentralization, responsibility assignment, and coordination regarding authority and responsibility in implementing public investment projects in the spirit of "6 clear: clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results".

Within 4 working days from the date of completion, promptly complete documents, legal procedures, and acceptance records of completed volume to send to the State Treasury as a basis for control, payment and refund according to regulations; do not let the volume that has been actually performed but not paid remain, do not let payment accumulate at the end of the year. At the same time, publicize violating contractors and specific sanctions in the construction of the City's projects.

Ho Chi Minh City will concentrate on speeding up the progress of key projects.

The city will focus on closely monitoring the implementation and disbursement of projects with large capital disbursement plans, especially projects such as: Upgrading and expanding National Highway 1; Compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance for the project of dredging, improving the environment, and building infrastructure for Van Thanh canal; Compensation, support and resettlement for Ring Road 3 through Binh Duong province; Site clearance project for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway - through Binh Duong province; Clearance of 21 sites of Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City from Thu Bien bridge - Saigon river; Upgrading and expanding Hoi Bai - Phuoc Tan road from National Highway 51 to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway,...
