Ho Chi Minh City opens photo exhibition 'Glory of 80 years of Vietnam National Assembly'

On August 7, the Organizing Committee of major holidays in Ho Chi Minh City organized a photo exhibition with the theme "Glory of 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly ".

This is an activity in the series of celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), and summarizing the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, 15th term, 2021-2026 term.

Former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Loi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi and delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation attended the opening ceremony.

Photo exhibition at 3 locations: Nguyen Hue walking street, Dong Khoi street (in front of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports , and opposite Chi Lang park) from August 7 to 17.

At Nguyen Hue walking street and Dong Khoi street, the organizers displayed more than 100 documentary images with the theme "Glory of 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly" summarizing the glorious history of the Vietnamese National Assembly throughout the 80 years of attachment and companionship with the nation in the struggle for independence, freedom, and national unification as well as in the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland.

On Dong Khoi Street (opposite Chi Lang Park), the organizers displayed 50 photos with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation - Imprints of the 2021 - 2026 term". The exhibition introduces the achievements of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation during the past term.
