Ho Chi Minh City promotes cooperation in culture, tourism, museums, libraries, and education with Hungary

At the meeting, the two sides focused on the following areas: Museum and library culture; Education and training; Tourism and international cooperation. In particular, the Hungarian delegation introduced and proposed that Ho Chi Minh City implement a model of displaying contents related to the National Assembly building, legislative history and Hungarian parliamentary architecture in museum spaces or public exhibitions in the City.

Representatives of Ho Chi Minh City departments also shared many outstanding figures of the City with more than 3,500 schools, connected to the library system of children's houses and museums. In the first 10 months of the year, the city welcomed more than 6.5 million visitors, with revenue of about 208,000 billion VND, with more than 5,300 accommodation establishments.

After the meeting, Mr. Cao Thanh Binh - Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City proposed that Hungary continue to facilitate cultural, tourism and sports exchange programs between the two countries; strengthen the connection between Hungarian enterprises and the Vietnamese market. Ho Chi Minh City will also strongly promote the image of Hungary's land and people, expand exchange and exhibition activities, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two countries.
