In the 2024-2025 school year,the education and training sector of Long Xuyen City continues to promote the emulation movement "Teaching well - Learning well", focusing on improving the quality of comprehensive education. The city has focused resources on investing in education, especially in discovering, selecting and nurturing excellent and gifted students. 100% of secondary schools in the area proactively develop plans to discover gifted students, establish teams and select teachers with solid expertise and extensive experience to participate in teaching and training.

Thanks to the above efforts, Long Xuyen City students have achieved many outstanding results in competitions organized by the province and city, such as: English speaking, solving math problems on handheld calculators, young informatics, excellent students in cultural subjects at the city level... In particular, the whole city has 97 secondary school students winning prizes at the provincial excellent student competition; 5/8 products participating in the competition won prizes at the provincial science and technology innovation competition.

At the ceremony, the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit and prizes to 198 students with high achievements in the city-level and provincial-level competitions for excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year. At the same time, 27 teachers directly involved in training excellent students were honored, with students winning first and second prizes at the provincial level. The ceremony is an opportunity to recognize and praise the efforts and creativity of teachers and students of schools in the area, adding motivation for students to constantly practice and develop their abilities; the teaching staff continues to innovate teaching methods, contributing to improving the quality of education.
