Tan Uyen City: Trade and service value increased by 24%

According to the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City, the city's total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the first 4 months of 2025 is estimated at 16,960 billion VND, reaching 41.19% compared to the resolution of the City People's Council, up 24% over the same period in 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, in general, the commodity market in Tan Uyen City has ensured to meet people's shopping needs well, prices are stable; there has been no speculation and hoarding of goods causing market instability. The city has organized the assessment and classification of products of the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program in the city in 2024, resulting in 15 products being recognized as achieving 3-star OCOP. Currently, the city is directing the inspection and survey of business operations of gas stations and temporary markets in the area; strengthening market inspection and control, especially the fight against smuggling and food safety.
