In April 2025, the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City issued a decision to sanction administrative violations in the environmental field against 1 company with a total fine of 155 million VND. The city is strengthening the direction and inspection of the handling, forced relocation and completion of legal documents or forced suspension of operations for scrap businesses that are still operating but do not ensure compliance with legal regulations. For 8 establishments that are carrying out legal procedures, the City People's Committee directed the agencies to urgently implement them to complete them before June 30, 2025.
