HCMC: House fire, one person died

On May 12, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward Police (District 12) and other departments of Ho Chi Minh City Police are investigating a house fire that killed a man.

Earlier, at nearly 11 p.m. on May 11, people discovered a fire breaking out in a house specializing in trading and repairing air conditioners on Tan Chanh Hiep 18 Street (Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12) and shouted. People used water and fire extinguishers to approach the house to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

The fire burned fiercely.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force (PCCC) - Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized many officers, soldiers and fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire. A short while later, the police were able to control the fire.

Upon inspection, the police discovered that Mr. D. (born in 1992, residing in Kien Giang province) had died in the mezzanine of the house. The cause is currently being clarified.
