Ho Chi Minh City has 3 new Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee

On the morning of November 14, at the 5th Session (special session), the 10th term People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2021-2026, unanimously elected 3 additional Vice Chairmen of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the term 2021-2026, in order to perfect the leadership apparatus and meet the management requirements in the new development stage of the city.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc presented a recommendation for the election of the following officials to the position of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee: Hoang Nguyen Dinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Cong Vinh - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance; Tran Van Bay - Member of the City Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the Ho Chi Minh City.

The delegates of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City conducted the election by secret ballot. As a result, the majority of delegates elected the above personnel to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2021-2026 term.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Council then passed a resolution confirming the election results for the positions of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, Nguyen Cong Vinh and Tran Van Bay.

Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh was born in 1980, his hometown is Thua Thien - Hue, now Hue City. Mr. Dinh has a Bachelor of Law, Master of Road and Bridge Construction, and Advanced Political Theory.

Before working at the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee after the merger, Mr. Dinh held positions in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as Director of the Provincial Transport Project Management Board, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Provincial Transport Construction Joint Stock Company; Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Transport.

Mr. Tran Van Bay was born in 1971, his hometown is Dong Nai . He has a Master's degree in Law and a Master's degree in Political Theory. Mr. Bay used to work at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. He also held the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Chairman of the People's Committee of District 9 (formerly), Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh was born in 1972, his hometown is Ba Ria city (now Ho Chi Minh City). He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Political Theory.

Before working in the new Ho Chi Minh City after the merger, he had a long time working in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, holding many positions such as Chief of Office of the People's Council - People's Committee of the district, Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the People's Committee of Chau Duc district (old), Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Since July 1, after merging Ho Chi Minh City with Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong, Mr. Vinh has held the position of Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance.
