The Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just announced the conclusion of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee at the Standing Committee meeting of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on handling and removing difficulties and obstacles for constructions, projects and land plots in the area.

Accordingly, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee agreed on the content of the draft detailed plan to handle the problems of the backlog of projects and works. This year's goal is to resolve 50% of the projects, works, and land areas under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and resolve 100% of the projects, works, and land areas under the jurisdiction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate and relevant departments, branches, sectors and units to develop a detailed plan to remove difficulties and obstacles for constructions, projects and land plots. Assign individuals and organizations to be responsible for implementing each work content.

The Department of Finance is assigned to synthesize and complete a detailed plan to handle difficulties and obstacles for constructions, projects, and land plots. The Department of Finance is the standing agency, assisting the working group, proactively advising and proposing to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to monitor and coordinate the working group's activities.

For new projects arising during the review process, the Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to update the list of works, projects, and land plots with difficulties and problems that need to be reviewed and consulted for consideration and resolution.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Vice Chairmen to directly lead and direct the resolution of difficulties and obstacles for projects and works. In particular, they focused on directing the resolution of projects that received the attention and direction of the Central Government.

Specifically, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong focused on directing, leading, and implementing drastic, synchronous, and timely solutions to difficulties for works and projects to accelerate public investment progress, ensuring the target of disbursing public investment capital in 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung focused on resolving work related to finance and budget, especially specific land valuation work to ensure the structure of budget revenue from land, completing the task of collecting the state budget in 2025.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested departments, branches, Thu Duc City People's Committee, districts and towns to focus on leading and directing the strict implementation of the conclusions of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on removing difficulties and obstacles for works, projects, and land plots, and speeding up work settlement for the common development and the whole country.

Nationwide, there are currently 788 real estate projects facing difficulties and problems related to land and investment...

Recently, in a report sent to the Prime Minister on the situation of removing difficulties for real estate projects nationwide, the Ministry of Construction said that nationwide there are 788 real estate projects with difficulties and problems related to the fields of land, investment, planning, construction, housing, bidding, capital sources for project implementation, and implementation of inspection conclusions for projects.

Up to now, difficulties and obstacles have been resolved and removed for 136/788 projects (17.3%) and difficulties and obstacles are being resolved and removed for 652/788 projects (82.7%).
