Hand-pounded lemon tea is on the rise, coin cake shop liquidates machinery

Previously selling "trendy" items such as soursop tea, salted coffee, and now coin cakes, Mr. Dang Huu Minh's shop (District 3 - Ho Chi Minh City) is liquidating machinery and preparing to switch to another business direction due to lack of customers.

“At the beginning of the business, there were a lot of customers but after a few days, the popularity decreased. Because after trying the food, customers said they would look for other, more unique dishes. I am planning to sell the coin cake maker for 3 million VND and give away the cake recipe,” said Mr. Minh.

According to Lao Dong, along streets such as Nguyen Van Bao (Go Vap District), Pham Van Dong (Thu Duc City)... or Ho Thi Ky food street, there are dozens of stalls selling mobile coin cakes with prices of about 25,000 - 30,000 VND/piece.

However, hand-pounded lemon tea is "on the rise", becoming the most popular item at the moment, causing many coin bakeries to be sluggish, even having to liquidate their machines.

“To start a coin cake business, I had to spend nearly 20 million VND to buy machinery, trucks, ingredients... Bac Ninh has 650 cases of land rent reduction

On November 20, information from the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province said that the whole province has about 650 enterprises, organizations and individuals eligible for a 30% reduction in land rent in 2023.

Specifically, according to the review of the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department, the whole province has about 650 enterprises, organizations and individuals eligible for a 30% reduction in land rent in 2023 according to Decision No. 25/2023/QD-TTg of the Government with a total reduction of about 80 billion VND.

According to the authorities, to enjoy the land rent reduction policy, businesses, organizations and individuals need to submit a set of documents including: Application for land rent reduction in 2023 according to regulations; Land lease decision or Land lease contract or Certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to land of the competent State agency (copy) to the Tax authority managing land rent collection.

The deadline for submitting documents is from November 20, 2023 to March 31, 2024. Within no more than 30 days from the date of receiving a complete and valid application as prescribed, the competent authority shall determine the amount of land rent to be reduced and issue a decision to reduce land rent as prescribed. Oil prices regain momentum, domestic gasoline prices may decrease slightly

Reversing last week's decline, in the first trading session of the week on November 20 (Vietnam time), Brent and WTI oil prices both increased slightly.
