Experience and practice fire fighting and rescue for Vietnamese students in Singapore

(BDO) On the morning of June 13, at the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Provincial Police, more than 70 students from the Vietnamese Student Association of the province and the Vietnamese Student Association in Singapore had the opportunity to experience a day as a firefighter.

The experience program is organized with many interesting activities, such as: sightseeing, introducing vehicles, means, fire fighting and rescue equipment; experiencing fire ladder trucks; practicing using CO2 fire extinguishers, spraying water to extinguish fires...

In addition, students had the opportunity to participate in self-rescue using electric pulleys, carabiners, and number 8 locks; practice escaping using a slow-lowering rope, an inclined rope bridge from the 3rd floor of the training tower, and watch a demonstration of controlling a fire-fighting robot.

The program aims to raise awareness, skills and knowledge of fire fighting and rescue among students.
