Experience squid fishing in Ba Dong fishing village

Ba Dong fishing village is a fishing village near the coast of Ha Tinh province. The villagers live on the sea all year round, including a very special profession - squid fishing.

Due to their unique living habits, squid often go out to find food at night, so this is also the time when boats turn on the lights and start fishing for jumping squid. According to fishermen's experience, February - May and July - October are the months with the most squid.

Fishermen catch squid in two ways: by fishing and by netting. After catching the squid, they put it in the boat's hold filled with seawater - this is how the squid stays fresh.

When the fishermen's work ends, other jobs begin, including delivering squid to floating restaurants.
